How GoloLink attribution works
The short version - see the full explanation in Analytics.
Attribution means tying a click back to the specific video (or product, for Smart Picks) that generated it, instead of one blended total for a link that's shared everywhere.
When you attach a short URL to a video, every click on it is tagged with that video. Reuse the same destination across ten videos and GoloLink still keeps each one's clicks separate.
This is covered in full, including Smart Pick attribution and why numbers can differ from YouTube Analytics or Google Analytics, in How attribution works.
