GoloLink terminology
Quick definitions for terms used throughout the app and these docs.
- Link - a destination URL plus its tracking settings.
- Short URL - the actual clickable address for a link; one link can have several.
- Slug - the part of a short URL after the domain (e.g.
mic-mainingolo.to/mic-main). - Video attribution - tagging a short URL's clicks with the video it's attached to.
- Smart Redirects - geo and device redirect rules on a link.
- Smart Pick - a page listing products, each with one or more purchase destinations.
- Bio Links - your link-in-bio page, built from blocks.
- Custom domain - your own domain, connected so links carry your brand instead of
golo.to. - Health status - whether a link's destination was last found reachable or broken (Growth plan).
