How outbound CTR is calculated
Outbound CTR = link clicks ÷ views × 100.
If 100,000 people watch your video and 2,500 of them click your link, that's a 2.5% outbound CTR.
This is different from YouTube's own impressions CTR (thumbnail click-through from search/browse) - outbound CTR measures what happens after someone is already watching, when they click a link you placed in the description, a pinned comment, or a card.
