Bio Link Privacy Notice

You're reading this because you visited a creator's Bio Link page (a URL that looks like gololink.com/@handle) - a public profile-style page listing a creator's links. This notice is separate from our main Privacy Policy, which covers people who have a GoloLink account. This page explains what data is collected while you view or use that page, even if you've never signed up for GoloLink yourself.

1. What a Bio Link page is

Creators use GoloLink to build a single public page listing links to their videos, products, and social profiles. Visiting one loads a page hosted by GoloLink directly - unlike a short link, there's no redirect involved in viewing it.

2. Information collected on each page view

To give the creator basic page-view analytics, we record:

  • Timestamp of the view.
  • Referrer and referrer domain (where the view came from, if sent by your browser).
  • Approximate country and city, resolved from your IP address via a GeoIP lookup at the moment of the view. We do not store the raw IP address itself.
  • Device type, browser, and operating system, parsed from your browser's user agent string.

That's the complete list - we don't collect your name, email, or any other directly-identifying information just from viewing a page.

3. Clicking a link or button on the page

Buttons and links on a Bio Link page are tracked the same way as any other GoloLink short link. See our Short Links Privacy Notice for exactly what click data is collected when you tap one.

4. Cookies on Bio Link pages

Bio Link pages don't show the site-wide cookie banner you'd see elsewhere on GoloLink. Optional cookies (analytics/advertising) stay off by default here - they only turn on if you open Cookies in the page footer and choose to accept. 5. Who sees this data

Page-view data is visible to the creator who owns the page, in their own GoloLink analytics dashboard, as an aggregated count alongside other views - not as a per-visitor profile. We do not sell this data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Retention

Page-view records are retained for as long as the creator's page or account stays active, following the same retention practices described in our main Privacy Policy.
