YouTube pinned comments
Use a separate short URL so its clicks stay distinguishable.
Pin a comment with your short URL when you want a second placement beyond the description - for example, if you don't want to edit the description after the video is live, or want to add a link after the fact.
Attach a dedicated short URL for the pinned comment (rather than reusing the description's) so you can tell placements apart later, and use the pinned comment quick preset on its tracking section for sensible UTM defaults - see UTM parameters.
