Attribution limitations
GoloLink attributes clicks - not sales, signups, or revenue.
GoloLink's attribution stops at the click. It tells you which video, product, or destination generated a click - it doesn't see what happens after the visitor lands on your destination site: no sales, signups, conversions, or revenue.
A few other limits worth knowing:
- No unique-visitor identity - every click is counted independently; see What is a unique visitor?
- No cross-device stitching - a click from someone's phone and later from their laptop are two unrelated clicks, not one journey.
- No campaign object - see Campaign-level attribution.
If you need to connect a click to a downstream outcome, that data lives with your affiliate network, payment processor, or product analytics tool - GoloLink gives you the click-level half of that picture.
