What happens when I delete a link?
The link, every short URL on it, and its click history are all gone.
Deleting a link removes it, every short URL attached to it (including ones on different videos), and its entire click history - permanently, with no restore. Anyone who clicks one of its short URLs afterward gets a not-found page.
Its slug(s) become available for anyone to claim again right away - see Can I reuse a deleted slug?
If you want the link to stay in your account but just stop redirecting, use expiration instead of deleting.
