How usage limits work

What each plan actually counts, and what happens when you reach a limit.

GoloLink doesn't measure usage as one combined "unit" - each plan sets separate limits for the things you create: links, videos, Bio Links pages, Smart Pick pages/products, and custom domains. Feature gates like CSV export or broken-link monitoring are separate from these counts - you either have them on your plan or you don't.

What happens when I reach a limit

The specific action that would put you over (creating one more link, adding one more video, and so on) is blocked, and you're shown an upgrade prompt. Nothing you've already created is deleted, hidden, or paused because of a limit.

What happens when I upgrade

Your new limits apply immediately - anything that was blocked because of your old plan becomes available right away.

What happens when I downgrade

Your limits drop to the new plan's, but GoloLink doesn't delete anything over the new limit for you. If you're over a limit after downgrading, you won't be able to create more of that thing until you're back under it (by removing some, or upgrading again).
